A warm and friendly stay awaits you at the Victoria Lodge in Shanklin on the beautiful Isle of Wight. Sallyann & Peter Young, the resident proprietors of this 4 star Guest Accommodation, promise you a friendly & comfortable holiday at great value for money.
The Victoria Lodge is situated in a beautiful and peaceful area of Shanklin, close to all amenities. A few minutes walk will take you to Keats Green on the Cliff Path, the beautiful safe sandy beaches, the town for shops, bank etc., the Theatre that provides a full programme of entertainment & musicals and the picturesque Old Village full of thatched cottages, restaurants & pubs. Shanklin is an ideal base to travel around the Island.
The accommodation is tastefully furnished and decorated. The lounge and dining room have lovely sea views as do some of the bedrooms. The bar offers a good range of wines, beers (including local bottled beer) and spirits and is open only to residents. Sallyann & Peter are always on hand to offer a warm welcome for new guests and the many repeat guests to the hotel. We regret we are unable to accommodate children under 12 years of age.

SERVICE
The Victoria Lodge provides excellent Bed and Breakfast (B&B) or Bed, Breakfast & Evening Meal (H/B) accommodation.
There is a wide choice of breakfast available and a five course dinner is served each evening, with a wide variety of choice to suit all tastes. Whilst we also cater for vegetarians we are unable to cater for special diets.
In the dining room guests are seated at their own tables with waiting service. Breakfast is served between 8.45 & 9.15 am and Evening meal is at 6.30 pm. Check-in is between 2 & 9 pm and check-out is 10 am.
ROOMS or UNITS
We have 20 bedrooms which are all en-suite and offer the choice of triple, double, twin or single rooms. Some bedrooms have a sea view at no extra charge. A number of rooms are available on the ground floor and double & twin rooms are available with bath, but please indicate during booking if this is a requirement. All rooms have TV with Freeview, which offers extended programmes plus radio. A courtesy tray is also provided offering tea/coffee/hot chocolate with kettle etc.
FACILITIES & FEATURES
Although, the Island is quite small, there is lots to do and see. There are plenty of attractions to suit all tastes and ages. Places of interest, historical buildings – especially Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle, are waiting for you to explore. The Island is a walkers paradise, with over 300 miles of footpaths and also ideal for cycling.
